By investing in our communities, we are investing in the future of Randolph County. The RCDA is dedicated to the growth of Randolph County through the continued development and improvement of the places where we work, play, and live. We take pride in calling Randolph County home. The RCDA works to strengthen our communities by providing the leadership and resources necessary to help them prosper. We understand that the success of businesses within our communities hinges on the quality of our workforce, so we provide industry specific training through programs such as those offered at the Wood Technology Center. By providing opportunities for the residents of our communities, we empower them and give them the skills they need to succeed. Some of our current community development projects are: the Elkins Railyard, the Elkins Railroad Depot, the Elkins Town Square, and the Acorn Project. These are just a few examples of Building for our Community.
