About Us

The Randolph County Development Authority is the lead economic development organization in Randolph County. The Authority has been assisting businesses for the past 30 years through real estate development, business retention efforts, facilitating state and federal business loans, offering special training to the wood industry, bring new investment into the county, and receiving grants for area projects.

Directed by a board of committed community-minded, volunteer individuals, the leadership is appointed for three year terms by the Randolph County Commission. Full time professional staff includes an Executive Director, secretary/book keeper, and two specialized training instructors. The board represents a broad base of local leaders from business and industry, education, banking, and government.

The RCDA is guided by the Vision Statement: “Collaborative and innovative leaders advancing sustainable growth and greater prosperity though strengthening the economy while preserving the valued way of life in Randolph County.” Currently in its 15th year as a “Certified Development Community”, the RCDA has developed its strategic goals around these three areas of commitment:
